Paula Jenkins, CFRE
Vice President of Principal Gifts
Indiana University Foundation
Paula Jenkins has served Indiana University Foundation in three senior roles since 2010. She currently leads the engagement and management of donors capable of making principal and transformational gifts across IU.

From 2014 through 2022, she was Vice President for Development on the Bloomington campus, overseeing development programs and staff in the schools and units. This position partnered closely with the provost and deans to secure transformational philanthropic support for IU’s academic programs and was a key leadership role in the $3 billion campaign, “For All: The Indiana University Bicentennial Campaign” which concluded in 2020 with $3.86 billion raised.

Paula previously served IU Foundation as Vice President of Development, Regional Campuses. In this role she supported the presidents of IU’s six regional campuses through strategic planning and partnership with each institution’s development team.
Before joining IU Foundation, Paula was Assistant Dean for Development and External Relations at the Purdue University School of Engineering and Technology at the IUPUI campus in Indianapolis. She held this role for nearly 17 years, overseeing all aspects of the school’s fundraising as well as marketing and communications. Paula began her career in advancement with the national office of Sigma Kappa Sorority where she served nearly eight years in development and public relations roles.
Paula earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Arizona and is currently pursuing an M.A. in philanthropic studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IU.
